It’s been nearly two years since launching Immortal Type.
Having had distance from it—I realize these words are meant for everyone to access without cost until a publisher who believes in it comes along and handles the transactions. It’s not something I wish to take part in directly. It feels forced, and is not something I will promote any longer. I’m a writer. I love to write.
At this point, it’s not the reader’s responsibility to provide me with compensation. This is an opportunity for a publisher to come forward, one who believes in my dream, in a way that supports my integrity as a writer, for mutual benefit.
There’s enough content here to satisfy an editor or publisher for decades.
It’s all turn-key. Part of offering this for free is the realization that God provided the words. I acted as his instrument. As a medium. Grateful to know through this intimate relationship with God, this volume of work may be produced again. Nothing would make me happier to do this with a solid editor and an agent. That’s where my focus is now.
No need for the reader to have to pay to access Immortal Type. The business model has not worked, and needed revision.
I’m realizing these books age like a solid red wine, not to sit in a cellar to be appreciated by a select few who believe enough to pay.
I’m learning from what was written here. These were words that came about when I was fighting to physically survive in Mexico during a pandemic of biblical proportions. I have documentary footage of this. I see it being shared in the future through a publisher who wishes to, like I said, benefit mutually.
These are typewritten novels written during the pandemic. They are historic works. Meant to be enjoyed by all.
The wine is free for all. This is part of my purpose.
Please enjoy. And offer a like when you feel inspired. For this shall benefit both of us, and like this publication, it’s offered at no cost to you.
With Love,
W.V.Carleton
